Recurring Dreams of the Victorian Lady in Black
What does it mean when you have the same dream over and over again?
During my recent round of interviews, a common theme was experiencing recurring ‘scenes’ whilst sleeping. I call them ‘scenes’, rather than dreams, as they appear to be unexplainable unless they’re considered as originating from a spiritual source or some form of interstellar communication. The same experience is repeated several nights in a row or over a period of days, weeks, months or even years. Whether it’s seeing a family member, being in the same property/location that you don’t recall living in or seeing repeated numbers, the consistency of the experience can not be explained rationally.
Here is an interesting dream that Michael (fictitious name) had a few years ago. The memory of the dream continues to come up in his thoughts, as he is without closure and so it continues within his aura each time that he remembers it.
The dream raises several questions:
Are we visited by entities in our dreams?
What is the significance of the person or location that you experience?
To what extent do past life memories come into our dreams?
Instantaneous teleportation is mentioned (a theme that also came up during the interviews that I conducted), with the entity appearing right in front of your face. Is this a deliberate scare tactick that they use?
As you read Michael’s experience, consider whether you have experienced anything similar. Sharing your experience in the comments section would support him in knowing that he is not alone.
“Okay, so I’ve had this recurring in my dreams since I was a kid. A woman in a dress would haunt me in them. Because of this, it has kind of become a phobia of mine.
This woman is in a black Victorian-era dress with a black veil. Her skin, including that on her face, is flakey as though she was decomposing, and her hair is long and black and matted. Her eyes are dark and sunken and her pupils are red. When she smiles her mouth contorts into an inhuman smile with red lips (almost like Mark Hamill’s cartoon Joker).
Different scenes, I can’t really remember, but the one thing I do remember is that she was there, in every single one, standing by herself watching me.
It ended, however, in my bedroom. She was there watching me, with that smile… I stood up in the dream, and screamed at her “You don’t scare me! and I’m not afraid of you!” It was at this point that she moved so fast it felt as if she had teleported, and appeared right in front of me and let out a blood-curdling scream. In my dream, I grabbed the gun that I kept on my right stand and shot her. She vanished as soon as I did that and I woke up.
I told my girlfriend about it in the morning and she informed me that it may not have been a dream. That she has been visited by this entity and that it haunts her. Her ex saw it and so did her mother and sister. My girlfriend described the woman perfectly before I even told her what she looked like.”
What do you think? Is it a fluke? How is it possible that other people also saw the lady in their dreams?
His immediate question is what should he do, as he doesn’t have closure? How can this dream be understood?

Thanks very much...I really appreciate the advice and am putting in effort on meditation to further enhance my ability to see clearly what is being communicated and how I can properly communicate.
Hi,
Thanks for this insightful thought provoking article,I’ve had several occurrences like that...my question is ,what’s the message being communicated or am I getting to a different level of consciousness
